Through technological advances and mobile devices, your trip to the dyno or starting with a final, dyno tuned map for an eTune has become second best. What is considered to be the “best tune”on the dyno will never match the superior results of taking the critical steps through Real-Time Tuning on the street and track. I have found an engine’s ideal combination and it’s suited timing curve without any datalogging or use of a dyno tool through my theory-based, computed Real-Time Tuning and Real-Time E-Tuning Method. Since a dyno tuner is skipping this method by doing nothing more than viewing a dyno monitor to answer to timing adjustments, you can obtain the same answer through your own “Real-Time” Dyno Tool in your vehicle, but with the added benefits of tuning on the street and track. So why pay a Dyno tuner to have the dyno monitor answer to your master-piece, when you can just use your own dyno tool, right?
Kiwi Wifi / Kiwi Blue Tooth Interface Device for OBD2 Vehicles
With an OBD2 vehicle and ECU, you can successfully use the Kiwi Wifi for the iPod, iPhone and iPad, or the Kiwi Blue Tooth for Droid to interface with the OBD2 diagnostic port. A stock Honda ECU, Plug n’ Play Programmed ECU, a piggy back such as the Apexi Neo / VAFC, or a Programmable ECU with a ROM editor software can be used with the Kiwi device and added software. The Kiwi Wifi and Kiwi Bluetooth device is used to display multiple sensor gauges, scan Check Engine Codes (CEL) and datalog ignition timing, fuel, throttle position, rpm, boost and many other parameters. Additionally, sensor modules can also be added with a plug n’ play connection to the Kiwi device which can also be viewed through gauges that are displayed on your mobile device. This eliminates the need to purchase gauges and mount them on your dashboard. In addition to monitoring gauges, datalog recording & playback, the Kiwi device can measure performance through compatible software. This includes horsepower and torque graphs through a Real-Time Dyno Tool as well as skid pad, lap times, acceleration / braking track displays and g-force measurements. The Kiwi Wifi / Kiwi Bluetooth is a powerful tool for the serious performance enthusiast.
